COUNCIL wants to thank all who participated in the Big Bin event. The bin was full by 4 pm Saturday and a lot of stuff was cleared out. We hope to make this event happen every year, and if we get the support maybe even twice a year. Please let us know when you think the best dates are. Changes keep us on our toes, Our newly elected councillor is Tom Thackeray elected by acclaimation after nominations closed on September 16th.
Tom lives in St. Albert and has a cottage in the summer village.
Sandbags are available at the Summer Village Office. These are empty sand bags and the recomendation is to fill them from existing beach sand, since any imported sand must be removed from the beach per Environment regulations.
