BONNYVILLE, AB – Due to the current rainfall and the forecasted weather
conditions, the Fire Advisory has been lifted effective May 15, 2026, at 1200hrs
for the Municipal District of Bonnyville No. 87, the Summer Villages of Bonnyville
Beach and Pelican Narrows, and the Village of Glendon.
Description:
• Regular permitting process will resume at this time. However, no new fire
permits will be issued for heavy fuel burning such as windrows, machine
piled brush piles.
Wildfire Prevention: Never leave a campfire unattended. Use the “Soak it, Stir
it, Soak it again” method until the site is cool to the touch. Report wildfires
immediately by calling 310-FIRE.
